Spotting Scopes
Why choose a Spotting Scope?
Spotting scopes are primarily for land viewing. Often reffered to as a telescope but essentially these are designed for more closer proximity viewing. all of these brands are of good quality but the Vixen spotters come out of Japan are a few dollars more but worth every penny. If you need something for the stars try the Skywatcher refractor land telescopes.
The Vixens are sold separately in components. For example, the spotting scope body, eye peice and tripod are purchased as individual parts. The Bushnell and Tasco spotters are good budget options if you are looking at scenery out to 500 meters or targets up to 200 - 300 meters. Acuter models in the 20-60*80mm are more powerful and "good bang for the buck value"
