Astronomical refractor telescopes: The Astronomical refractor is best suited for the individual who needs a telescope for only astronomical use and not viewing on the land. Land refractor telescopes: These telescopes can provide a combination of both land viewing and astronomical viewing. They are idealy suited if you have any location such as a balcony or vantage point for viewing land related objects. Often customers who have ocean views or wide ranging views of valleys etc will purchase these telescopes. The land refractor can then double its purpose of be used for looking at the stars.
